Tips and tricks – putting a password on your web pages

With a Mr Site website, it's possible to restrict access to your web pages so that only people with a password can view them.

To add, edit or remove passwords, there are just a few simple steps to follow.

Begin by logging into your Takeaway Website account, then click on option 5 'Extras' from the Main Options.

Next, click on 'Add features', followed by 'Add/Edit password'. You'll then need to select which page you'd like to add your password to from the drop down menu and click 'Next'.

The final step is to add your chosen password. Now, click next then continue. Remember, you must always publish your website with option 4 on the main options page to see all your changes live on the internet.

Please note: the 'Add/ Edit Password' option offers basic password protection and should only be used on pages that do not require a high level of security.ADNFCR-2683-ID-19525203-ADNFCR
