National Identity Fraud Week sees online security for small businesses

An online resource for small businesses and individuals hoping to armour themselves up against ID fraud has been launched by compliance firm IT Governance.

Organisations across the country are making a plea to businesses and consumers alike to be online secure as part of National Identity Fraud Week.

IT Governance's latest release is a webpage called "Keep Safe Online". It claims to help people protect themselves from online attacks such as webmail hacking.

It also provides links to online resources from organisations like banks and the UK Government.

It doesn't take too much effort to protect yourself in the online world. Making your passwords strong for example is one way of protecting your identity. Just use a combo of numbers, letters and symbols to keep the cyber crooks at bay.ADNFCR-2683-ID-19407901-ADNFCR
