There's a reminder to small businesses to ensure they've got a good web presence, as new figures show the number of searches made online has increased by nearly half over the past 12 months.
Market research firm ComScore found in December there were 131 billion searches worldwide by businesses and consumers, equating to 29 million searches every single minute.
Jack Flanagan, who's behind the research, says many of these searches aren't coming from search engines but are within sites and across networks, and it's driving navigation around the web.
The UK ranks fourth for the number of searches taking place, with more than six billion last month alone.
