Can I point my Mr Site domain name to a website made with another provider?
If you have a domain-only account with MrSite, it is possible to keep your domain with us to look after and 'point' it to a website made with another provider.
To do this, you need to update something called 'name servers'. You will need to ask your website provider to give you their name server codes and then update this information in your MrSite account.
Once you have the codes (there will be two, which look similar to NameServer #1: ns4.hosthost.co.uk and NameServer #2: ns5.hosthost.co.uk) log into your account by going to www.mrsite.co.uk/create
Your account ID will be your website name (e.g. www.yourdomainname.com) and your password will be your original Mr Site activation code in CAPITALS.
Now, go to 'Extras' from the Main Options, followed by 'Admin', then 'Edit name servers'.
